The 2018-2019 University of Wisconsin Oshkosh athletic season is about to commence. Many of the student-athletes have been on campus since early August, training and preparing for the year. Clash the Titan, UWO’s mascot, has also been putting in work for the new season and can’t wait to be in the stands cheering the Titans on.
The Titan women’s volleyball team and the women’s soccer team kick-off 2018-2019 for UW Oshkosh this Friday. Volleyball heads to the Pacific Northwest to partake in the Puget Sound Premiere Tournament in Tacoma, Washington, with its first match against Pacific Lutheran University at 1 p.m. The soccer team travels to Duluth, Minnesota, and battles Luther College, also at 1 p.m. Other sports in action in the fall are men’s and women’s cross country, football, women’s golf and women’s tennis.
