The Continuing Education Office at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac is offering a How to Use Your New Digital Camera course 5:30-7:30 p.m. on four Thursdays, Nov. 3 through Dec. 1.

This is a course on the basics; everything from taking pictures to storing images to sharing photos. Students will also be learning about holding the camera; batteries; memory cards; set up menus and preferences; file size and resolution; when to use a tripod; composition rules; auto modes; semi-automatic and manual modes; getting the image into the computer; and printing or web output.

This course will be held at UW-Fond du Lac and is being taught by Trisha Branson. The registration fee is $69.
