Kayoung Kim has joined the faculty at UW-Fond du Lac as assistant professor of psychology. She will teach Introductory Psychology, Statistical Methods in Psychology and Life Span Developmental Psychology courses this fall.

Kim is originally from South Korea, raised and educated there until she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yonsei University. She came to United States in 2009 and received her master’s degree in human development and psychology from Harvard University. Afterwards, she moved to Texas, where she recently received her psychology doctorate from Texas A&M University.

Her area of specialization is in cognitive/experimental psycholinguistics, and her research examines the relationship between literacy experiences and human cognition.
