The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh men’s basketball team is still dancing.

The Titans won the NCAA Division III Oshkosh Sectional Championship with a gutsy 82-79 victory over Guilford College Saturday (March 9) at Kolf Sports Center. The 3-point victory secured them a spot in the NCAA Div. III Final Four for the second consecutive season.

UWO, currently ranked fourth in the country by D3hoops.com, faces Wheaton College in the national semifinals Friday (March 15) in Fort Wayne, Ind. Wheaton College reached the Final Four with a 91-87 win over Marietta College behind 62 points from Aston Francis.

The game will be held at Allen Country War Memorial Coliseum and is scheduled for 7 p.m.

UW Oshkosh and Wheaton will be meeting for the second time this season. The Thunder handed the Titans their first loss of the season by an 85-74 score on Nov. 17 in Wheaton. Ill.

Send the team off in style
Attend the send-off event at  3 p.m., Wednesday, March 13 at Kolf Sports Center. The team hits the road at 3:30 p.m.
