Seven University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni were named to the Future 15 list in recognition of their professional dedication, strong sense of vision for the future of the Fox Cities and personal commitment to philanthropy in the community. Each year the Pulse Young Professionals Network, a program of the Fox Cities Chamber, honors the top 15 young professionals from across the region.
UW Oshkosh staff member Jennifer Buelow Fischer, who also was named to the Future 15 list, was the first to notice how many of the outstanding young professionals were UWO alumni. Fischer serves as the College of Business undergraduate programs director and is honored to be part of an innovative, forward-thinking organization that prepares graduates to not only be successful in their careers but also to make a difference throughout their communities.
“I believe that UW Oshkosh is doing an incredible job providing students with opportunities to develop leadership skills and the skills to be successful in a variety of career paths. Our honored alumni span colleges and majors, which demonstrates that ALL of our students have high-impact experiences that instill critical thinking and foster a commitment to community engagement and volunteering through community-based learning,” Fischer said.
