When asked what they did this summer, those who attended Grandparents University at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Oshkosh campus can say that they graduated with their grandparents–and even have a diploma to prove it!
Grandparents University is an educational program that brings grandparents and their grandchildren together for two fun-filled days of exploration and learning. This year marks the third year that UW Oshkosh’s Continuing Education program has hosted the event.
Those participating chose one of four “majors:” Amazing Astronomers, Animal Adventurers, Awesome Artists or Spectacular Scientists. Each major contained hands-on activities and demonstrations that helped encourage participants to learn and have fun.
The program took place July 11 and 12 and concluded with a Commencement Ceremony to honor the new graduates.
