URECA (Undergraduate Research Experience and Creative Activities)! supports student travel to conferences to present research and creative activity. A rewarding research or creative activity process culminates with the presentation of work.

Club activities include:

  • A pizza roundtable for sophomores and transfer students where a number of UWO professors and graduate students will make presentations.
  • Practice sessions where UWO undergraduate students practice their poster presentations (will serve as a practice run for students participating in UW Oshkosh Celebration of Scholarship, UW System Research in the Rotunda, UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, National Conference on Undergraduate Research, and CUR Posters on the Hill).
  • Brainstorming sessions where URECA! Club members brainstorm and pitch their research ideas amongst their peers. The club is open to undergraduate students from all disciplines.

This organization meets every other week on Mondays from 9:15–10:15 a.m. (subject to change) in Dempsey 317.
