Undergraduate Research Experience and Creative Activities

URECA! (Undergraduate Research Experience and Creative Activities) supports student travel to conferences throughout the United States to present research and creative achievements. A rewarding research or creative activity process will culminate in the publishing or presentation of work.

Club activities include:

  • A pizza roundtable where a number of UW Oshkosh professors and upper-level students will make presentations about their own research, as well as share information about their respective fields.
  • Practice sessions where UWO undergraduate students give poster presentations (a practice run for students participating in UW Oshkosh Celebration of Scholarship and Creative Activity, UW System Research in the Rotunda, UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, National Conference on Undergraduate Research, CUR Posters on the Hill, and more).
  • Brainstorming and planning sessions where URECA! Club members brainstorm and pitch their research ideas amongst their peers. The club is open to undergraduate students from all disciplines.
