The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that was reported at 10:40 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2013.  Given the proximity to campus we wanted to make the campus community aware.

INCIDENT DETAILS

A 22 year old female from Antigo, WI said that she was in the 800 block of John St. in the City of Oshkosh attempting to find a friend’s house. At that time, a dark purple or blue Neon stops and tells the 22 year-old female that the friend is not at home and to get in the vehicle and they will give her a ride.

The occupants of the vehicle are described as two white males and a white female. The driver threatens the 22 year-old female with a weapon and she gives the occupants an undisclosed amount of cash.

The 22 year-old female is driven around the area for approximately 45 minutes. In that time, she is able to call a friend from her cell phone and report she is in trouble. The occupants of the vehicle take her phone from her and eventually take her back to her car, let her out of the car and return her phone.

The 22 year-old female goes to Appleton and reports the incident to the Appleton Police who in turn call the Oshkosh Police Department. The female was uninjured in the incident.

The driver is described as a white male, early 20’s, short spiked blonde hair, 6’+ with a skull and bones tattoo on web of right hand. The male passenger is early 20’s, brown curly hair, brown eyes and larger nose. The female passenger is dirty blonde hair 3” past shoulder length with no further description.
