Why did you choose to study Sociology?
I chose sociology because I have always been interested in the way people think and behave in society. I thought it would pair well with my psychology minor as well.
What are some key things you’ve gotten out of the major?
Some key things I’ve gotten from my major include the ability to relate issues in society to greater social forces and how to properly conduct research.
What is your favorite part of studying Sociology at UWO?
My favorite part of studying sociology here at UWO is the connections made between the students and faculty. I enjoy seeing the students and professors interacting outside of the classroom. The faculty provides a very welcoming environment that motivates me to do better each day.
What else have you been involved in at UWO?
Some of my involvement on campus includes sociology club, OSA assembly, and theatre.
What are some of your other interests?
My interests include video games, acting/stage crew, live action role play, and hanging out with friends.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to become a high school guidance counselor and help kids struggling with mental illness.
