The annual Winter Carnival officially kicked off Sunday at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. To help get campus prepped, students took to the Reeve Union marketplace patio Friday to carve ice sculptures under blue skies and sunshine.

Winter Carnival is an event on the UW Oshkosh campus that stretches back to the 1950s. It’s one of the many traditions that have made the University a vibrant hub of activity and excellence for 150 years. This year’s carnival runs through Wednesday.
