Now open Wednesday to Saturdays!

Imagine a museum where you can make an earthquake, walk through a mine tunnel, shoot off a quarry blast, touch a dinosaur bone and make it rain. That’s the Weis!

Everyone from the advanced collector to the youngster who just started picking up rocks will be amazed at the marvelous minerals and fabulous fossils on display.

While you’re having lots of hands-on, interactive fun, you’ll discover that there were once volcanoes, mountains, and tropical reefs right here in Wisconsin. In fact, you’ll learn that every rock tells a story, and you can read them yourself!

The Weis Earth Museum is a proud member of the Wisconsin Federation of Museums (WFM). The Weis is also a Blue Star Museum and happy to offer veterans and their families free admission.
