An arts integrated lesson brings writing and visual art together that results in a printed portrait that reflects who they are. Students will demonstrate skills in reflecting, writing, and revising a personal narrative, as well as provide feedback to develop a final piece. Students will also demonstrate skills in printmaking using the processes of stencil printing and linoleum block printing. knowledge of positive/negative space, aesthetics, and composition will be applied.
