Students learn about animals who use camouflage to blend in with their surroundings. In specific, students learn about how moths blend in with the trees they rest on. When they blend in, this prevents them from being seen by predators. While experimenting with color blending, students will create their own moth to blend in and “hide” in its surrounding.
