This lesson teaches students how to use Canva to gain an understanding of digital design and to create an infographic. Infographics can be used as an assessment tool for any content area. This lesson will feature it being used as a final project for a literary nonfiction unit. Students will use the elements of design to create an infographic that incorporates information from their literary nonfiction book. Students will be scored on a proficiency rubric that is listed at the end of the lesson plan.
