The Focus and Design of the Online CJ Major

The online CJ major is designed for non-traditional students who cannot pursue the on-campus CJ major due to time constraints, geographic constraints, employment obligations, etc. The online criminal justice major may be appropriate for students who wish to pursue a baccalaureate education that emphasizes: writing and critical thinking skills, theoretical understanding of crime and the criminal justice system’s response to crime, data analysis, policy formulation, and policy analysis, and the legal, ethical, administrative, and behavioral aspects of the criminal justice system and its various parts.
