Welcome to the College of Education and Human Services at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
This year marks the 150th anniversary not just for UW Oshkosh, but also for the College of Education and Human Services. The University began as a Normal School, and the College of Education and Human Services has carried on that tradition since the University’s inception. We are proud of this heritage and the positive impact that our graduates have had in schools and communities across the nation.
The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) offers all students opportunities for field-based practice with the help of its many partners. This hands-on experience provides a strong foundation for professional success. We take great pride in providing our students with personal attention so they can take their place as leaders in education, counseling and human services. Our faculty are accomplished in their fields and dedicated to serving all students.
COEHS is home to six departments:
- Human Kinetics and Health Education
- Human Services Leadership
- Leadership, Literacy, and Social Foundations
- Professional Counseling
- Special and Early Childhood Education
- Teaching and Learning.
