Welcome to the College of Education and Human Services at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh

We are so excited to have you join us! The College of Education and Human Services has a long history on the UW Oshkosh Campus. The University began as a Normal School, so in many ways, the College of Education and Human Services serves as a foundation for education at UW Oshkosh and in the State of Wisconsin. We are proud of this heritage and the positive impact that our graduates have had in schools and communities across the nation.

The College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) offers all students opportunities for field-based practice with the help of its many partners. This hands-on experience provides a strong foundation for professional success. We take great pride in providing our students with personal attention so they can become leaders in education, counseling, and human services. Our faculty are accomplished in their fields and dedicated to serving all students.

COEHS is home to six departments:

• Leadership, Literacy, and Social Foundations
• Professional Counseling
• Special and Early Childhood Education
• Teaching and Learning
