The Teaching and Learning Department prepares undergraduate and graduate students to become teachers who are skillful practitioners, reflective professionals and change agents in their schools and communities.

At the undergraduate level, the Teaching & Learning Department prepares students for licensure in a variety of age ranges, from early childhood through adolescence (PK-12), through the Teacher Education Program.

At the graduate level, teachers with regular Wisconsin teaching licenses can enhance their professional knowledge and skills with the University’s masters program in Teaching and Learning.

Students become knowledgeable in culture, subject matter, learning theories and diversity, as well as skillful in creating curriculum and using different pedological strategies to foster learning among all students.
