Ready to impact the next Class?

Lead A Learning Group

All first-year students in the SSS/SSS STEM program will be assigned a Learning Group based on their class schedule. Learning Groups are small group sessions of first-year students who meet weekly with two upperclassmen to learn about college success, academic skills and leadership development. Learning Groups are exclusive and only for those that join the program.

Become A Peer Mentor

The goal of the Peer Mentoring Program is to keep second year students connected with SSS/SSS STEM program and the greater campus community. Peer Mentors help program participants connect with campus groups, activities and people around campus that will expedite their pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.

The UW Oshkosh SSS/SSS STEM programs are 100% funded through TRIO grants from the U.S. Department of Education. The award numbers are P042A200162 and P042A200357 at an estimated $3.6 million for the 2020 to 2025 program years.
