Summer Grounds Crew

Job Qualifications:

This job requires some lifting up to 50lbs, stooping, bending, and climbing ladders.

The ability and willingness to use small power equipment such as hedgers, string trimmers, push mowers and back pack blowers may be needed.

Students will need to work in sometimes dirty and dusty conditions and majority of the time outdoors.

Workers are expected to be on time and flexible in their job duties.

Each student will be required to wear steel toed shoes daily, safety glasses and hearing protection when appropriate to the job.

Work hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

1. Campus clean up in the mornings.

2. Weeding and trimming of plants.

3. Mulching new and existing beds.

4. Mowing and trimming when necessary.

5. Planting annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees.

6. Other duties as assigned.

Candidate will be provided with safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection.

Starting Wage is $8.00/hour depending on experience.
