HORIZON VILLAGE

OUR COMMUNITY

On November 15, 2010, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh broke ground on a new suite-style residence hall. This is the first new Residence Hall Facility on the UW Oshkosh campus since 1967.

Horizon Village is UWO’s only suite-style residence hall on campus.  Horizon Village offers four-bedroom (all roommates get their own single bedroom) or two-bedroom (roommates live in pairs) living options. This hall features brand new amenities with lots of gathering spaces to easily stay connected with others in the hall.  Gathering spaces include: 2 lounges on every floor, kitchenettes throughout the building, conference rooms, study rooms, and much more!  Horizon takes pride in sustainable living efforts, as it was built with geothermal energy use and made Gold status in the LEED Green Building Rating System. Starting in the 2021-2022 academic year, Horizon Village offers open gender four-bedroom suites, where residents from all gender identities and expressions can choose to live together.
