Angie Darnick, NP

Angela Hawley, MSN, RN, APNP, FNP-C

Director/Nurse Practitioner

Angela received her B.S. in Nursing from Marquette University in 2006 and M.S. in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2012. Having started her nursing career on a Neurosurgery unit at Froedtert Hospital, she ventured into Labor and Delivery shortly thereafter. She continued her career as a Labor and Delivery nurse while completing her graduate education to become a family nurse practitioner. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner in a women’s health clinic in Neenah and is now excited to be practicing in primary care at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where she began working in August 2015.

Cynthia received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Boston University Medical Center and is a board-certified OB/GYN physician. She then moved to Wisconsin where she practiced for 18 years at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin as well as at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay campus. In 2020, Cynthia completed her master’s in healthcare administration. She joined the staff of the Student Health Center as Medical Director in 2021. Cynthia is excited to join the dedicated, wonderful team here and to use her skills, knowledge, and experience for the benefit of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community.

Kristi Herrick, MSN, RN, APNP, FNP-BC

Kristi received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2008 and 2014 respectively. Her nursing career began at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison on the cardiac unit. From there she ventured back to the Fox Valley, where she worked in the intensive care unit, and completed her graduate degree to become a nurse practitioner. She is excited to be a Family Nurse Practitioner in Oshkosh where her nursing journey began years ago. Kristi joined the Student Health Center in September 2014.

Rebecca received her B.S. in Nursing from Winona State University in 2009 and M.S. in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2014. Becky began her nursing career as Certified Nursing Assistant and then moved into a role as a Registered Nurse on a surgical/pediatric unit in 2009. She continued working as a Registered Nurse for five years while obtaining her master’s degree. After graduation, she worked for three years in Family Practice in Fond du Lac before joining the Student Health Center staff in late 2017.

Tricia received her B.S. in Nursing from Bellin College of Nursing and her M.S. in Nursing from Concordia University Wisconsin. Tricia started her nursing career working Labor and Delivery in the Green Bay area and transitioned into a Women’s Health and Ob/Gyn clinic. She has also spent some time working in the NICU unit and Nursing Home Support. Continuing her education as a Family Nurse Practitioner has allowed great excitement to be providing primary care. She began working with the Student Health Center in October 2021 and is excited for the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff and student community at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

In her spare time, Tricia enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, baking, being outside, and is often on a soccer field or enjoying newest art creations.

Lindsay Davel, DNP, PMHNP-BC, APNP

Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Lindsey completed her B.S.N. at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and continued on to pursue both her Masters and Doctoral work at the University of Wisconsin Madison with emphases on psychiatric nursing and psychiatry. “Dr. Lindsay” specializes in psychopathology and works with patients to develop a professional working partnership by providing mental health education to promote hope, coping skills, empowerment and meaning. She uses a nursing focus when conducting psychiatric evaluations, collaborating with individuals to develop recovery goals and evidenced-based treatment plans, and providing ongoing rehabilitation as needed. Davel joined the staff of the Student Health Center in early 2016 and also maintains a psychiatric outpatient practice at Aurora Medical Center in both Oshkosh and Fond du Lac.

Cindy Schroeder, BSN, RN

Cindy received her B.S. in Nursing from Valparaiso University in Indiana. She started in the Intensive Care Unit in Hobart, Indiana, moved to Oshkosh in 1997, and then transitioned into the role of primary care nurse in Family Practice at Aurora Healthcare. With over 20 years experience as a Registered Nurse, Cindy has been employed in the Student Health Center since the fall of 2015 and is excited to work with the students and staff at the University of Wisconsin.

Brigitte received her ADN from Fox Valley Technical College and her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Prior to her arrival at the Student Health Center in October 2020, Brigitte worked as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Aurora Health Care. In addition, she has worked in Public Health, and in the School Nurse role. She enjoys traveling, being creative, and spending time with family and friends.

Pam Parker, CMA

Pam provides primary care assistance, patient health education and clinical duties by the direction of the center’s health care practitioners. She received her Medical Assistant Certification in 2007 from Fox Valley Technical College.

Prior to her arrival at the Student Health Center in March 2016, Parker worked as a Medical Assistant in both plastic surgery and OB/GYN Women’s Care. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and going to see movies.

Courtney Williams, MA

Courtney started her medical career as a certified nursing assistant working in the department of corrections and behavioral health for 14 years. She then received a diploma for medical assisting in 2016 from Rasmussen College. Prior to her arrival at the Health Center in March 2024, Courtney has worked as a medical assistant in pain management and urgent care clinics.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling, gardening, attending concerts and sporting events with her kids.

Robin received her B.S. in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. She began her career at Ascension Medical Group as an Office Operations Assistant in 2018 before arriving at the Student Health Center in May 2022. Robin is excited to work with the students and staff at UWO.

Kim Helm-Quest, MSW

Kim received her MSW from UW Oshkosh and her B.S. in Sociology (minors in Psychology and Ethnic Studies) from Edgewood College. She previously held roles at UW Madison in Title IX, Survivor Services, and Violence Prevention. Kim also has experience working with the State Health Assessment and State Health Plan at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. She strives for her personal commitment to social justice to always be reflected in her work. In her free time, Kim enjoys antique shopping, watching home renovation shows, and discussing pop culture
