Student Organizations

The Department of Journalism at UW Oshkosh has four organizations for students to get involved with. Each group is advised by a journalism professor and works to advance knowledge and understanding of various aspects of journalism. Students can also hone their writing skills by working with the student newspaper, The Advance-Titan.

Ad Club

Society of Professional Journalist (SPJ)

Students with a writing/editing emphasis and those in broadcasting with an emphasis on news are encouraged to join the Society of Professional Journalists. read more
