Making a Difference

Alumni and friends of the Fox Cities campus of UW Oshkosh are key players in helping the Foundation to make a difference. Those efforts by alumni and friends are noted and appreciated by everyone on campus.

How You Can Help

Scholarships make the difference to academically deserving students who want to attend college when they lack the financial ability to pay for college. Foundation staff will work with donors to structure new scholarships according to the donor’s wishes.

Funding Faculty/Staff Development

Keeping the Fox Cities campus faculty and staff on the forefront of developments in their discipline not only benefits the faculty and staff but also Fox Cities campus students. The Foundation provides nearly half of the annual professional development funds permitting faculty and staff to publish and present scholarly works, do research, and attend or present their work at professional conferences.

Capital fundraising endeavors can benefit our campus and enrich our surrounding communities. The Barlow Planetarium and Communication Arts Center are prime examples.

Funding Specific Needs

Funds for special program needs and/or equipment that occur throughout the academic year—long after the completion of the campus budget. The Foundation provides a mechanism to allow students, faculty and staff to recognize special new opportunities or to meet unanticipated needs.

More Options

Volunteer and attend campus events, make a contribution or give your support in the community on key issues facing the campus.
