College of Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner students obtained a 100% pass rate on the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam in 2015. Since 2009, College of Nursing Clinical Nurse Leader students have achieved a 100% pass rate on the Commission on Nurse Certification (CNC) Clinical Nurse Leader Certification Exam.

RN to BSN to MSN

Through this collaborative option, registered nurses enrolled in the BSN@Home option through UW Oshkosh can take a fast track to the master’s program while completing their undergraduate degree. The RN to BSN to MSN Program also provides licensed RNs with the convenience of online courses.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

The College of Nursing’s MSN emphases prepare bachelor’s degree-holding students for a career leading to advanced roles in nursing as a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) or Nurse Educator (NE).  The CNL and NE emphases are 100% online.

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

The College of Nursing’s DNP Program prepares advanced practice nurses and advanced nurse administrators for the highest level of nursing practice.

Graduate Program Certificates

The 100% online Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Certificate allows students who already hold a master’s degree in nursing to complete the necessary requirements for CNL certification and practice. The 100% online Nurse Educator (NE) Certificate allows students to attain the National League for Nursing (NLN) Competencies for Nurse Educators and meet requirements for national certification. In the Healthcare Informatics Certificate students gain the necessary knowledge to fill Healthcare Informatics professional roles. Nurses who complete the Healthcare Informatics Certificate are eligible to take the Informatics Nursing Certification Exam administered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
