Center for Nursing Research & Evaluation | CNRE

Mission

The mission of the Center for Nursing Research & Evaluation (CNRE) is to support and enhance the capacity of faculty, staff, and students at the UWO College of Nursing to engage in innovative, high-quality, impactful scholarly and creative activities. In addition, the CNRE serves as the primary resource for the systematic assessment and evaluation of program outcomes of the College of Nursing to support accreditation and other standards of academic excellence.

Vision

Our vision is to sustain a culture of nursing scholarship that prioritizes innovative research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement, with the goal of improving healthcare delivery and health outcomes for individuals and communities. We strive to facilitate collaborative scholarship endeavors within the College of Nursing, partners across the university, and with members of the communities in which we practice and serve. Additionally, we aim to foster interest in nursing and interdisciplinary scholarship, support the creation of scholarly work, and establish a repository of resources to benefit the college at large.

What we do

  • Provide consultation and support to facilitate research and scholarly projects at the individual and department levels.
  • Manage, implement, and maintain college course and program evaluation processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with university and community partners to support scholarly activities.
