RN to BSN to MSN Program

The RN to BSN to MSN program provides registered nurses with a fast track for entry into the Master of Science in Nursing program while completing their undergraduate nursing degree through UW Oshkosh’s BSN@Home program. Students  must apply to the MSN program during their first semester of BSN@Home. Students are then expected to take MSN-level courses as electives in their last year of BSN@Home.

Students interested the RN to BSN to MSN program must work closely with their BSN@Home advisers to fulfill all program requirements. The MSN courses that may be taken during the last year as BSN@Home include:

NUR 709–Pharmacology for Advanced Nursing Roles (3 cr.)
NUR 719–Foundations for Advanced Nursing and Interprofessional Collaboration (3 cr.)
NUR 745–Advanced Health Assessment for Clinical Nurse Leaders and Nurse Educators (2 cr.)
NUR 746–Quality and Safety (2 cr.)
NUR 783–Healthcare Informatics (3 cr.)
